In winter, why does the solar panel not charge?

1.In winter, the temperature is always low, sometimes it may lower than 0 ° C, so the solar panel cannot be effectively charged.

2.The sunshine in Winter is not enough, the ultraviolet light is weak, the solar panel can not get enough light energy to charge.

3.There are some blocks such as snow and ice that affect solar panels charging.

4. When the solar panels collects energy from the sun, the camera also consumes energy,in winter,the solar panel charging speed can not reach the camera power consumption speed, that's why camera is soon out of power

The following measures can be help to improve the above situation:

1. Remove the block on solar panel timely ,you can clean up the snow and ice on solar panel from time to time.

2. Reduce the frequency of camera activity, so the power consumption of the camera can be reduced,too.

3. Replace the solar panel with a higher power one to catch more energy. (Optional 5W/6W/7W solar panels with larger functions)

Use 5.V/1.5A or higher charger +USB cable to charge the camera. Can maintain continuous charging.
