How to solve solar panels not charging?

1. The camera triggers too many recordings, and the solar panel is not charging fast enough to keep up with the camera's power consumption.

 Please check whether the camera is triggered frequently every, if it records over 300 times a day will cause the camera's power consumption too fast. You can reduce the detection sensitivity of the camera and adjust the monitoring angle of the camera to reduce the triggers.

2. This may be caused by poor contact between the solar panel and the camera interface.

A. Please check that if the solar panel is connected to the equipment properly.

You can see the the charging part turn green when you connect them will.

B.Please check the placement that you put the solar panel.the solar panel needs to be placed in an outdoor environment where solar energy is shining. Please do not place it in a shaded area.

2. Avoid using vicohome live time for a long time, that would consume energy while charging, and cause camera charging effect is not that obvious

3. Check if the charging port of the camera is broken and can not be charged. Please refer to the following methods to check if the camera's charging port is damaged.

Use 5V/1.5A charger to charge the camera and check if the camera indicator is yellow/green.

5. Check whether the camera has touch fall, water got in or any other external factors.

6. If none of the above solutions can solve your problem,please take a picture of the solar panel mounting position and the SN code of the camera and send it to us,we will arrange engineers to accurately troubleshoot the problem.
